Davaam

all for a low-carbon future

THE STORY

Davaam approached Backspace to organise their brand identity and streamline their marketing communication for the B2B space specifically. The were not looking to ‘sell’, rather, to represent with great clarity the effective and progressive services and products offered by the company. We at Backspace are gung-ho about future-centric projects. We could also tell ‘sustainability’ was not a buzzword at Davaam - here was a team that developed and implemented solutions to enable it. We jumped right in.

WHAT WE DID

Backspace helped create a visual system for the brand architecture and designed sub-brands that could help Davaam showcase itself more effectively. It created and published digital content to tell the real story behind the business, its growing market and the challenges faced by the experts at Davaam.

WHAT STOOD OUT

Backspace did a deep dive into where the company could go in the next 5 years and proposed a new brand - one not on the client’s list, Davaam Life. It started off as a representation of the sustainable eco-system Davaam is looking to deliver, it was adopted as the name of their new retail project.

WHAT’S NEXT

Davaam Life is a retail outlet concept - a franchise based sustainability retail concept. It is to enable those who know and educate the segments that care but don’t know how to build smarter shopping habits. Davaam is also looking to create impact through waste management - we can’t wait to get our hands dirty with that.
